Managing Finances and Studies: My Experience with Serve Legal

As a student, balancing academic responsibilities with financial independence can be challenging. Working as a Serve Legal auditor provided a valuable solution for auditor, Archie.

As a student, managing finances can often be challenging, especially when balancing academic responsibilities and the desire for independence. That's where Serve Legal has made a significant difference for me. I’ve been working as an auditor with the company for around a year now, and it has provided not only flexibility but also a unique opportunity to earn while maintaining a focus on my studies.

What sets Serve Legal apart is its adaptability. As a student, I am not bound by strict work schedules like many other part-time jobs. Instead, I have the freedom to choose when and where I complete my audits. This has been particularly beneficial during exam periods, when my priority is studying. Serve Legal even offers home delivery audits, meaning I can continue to earn money without leaving my home – perfect for when revision is my main focus.

Another huge benefit is how this role has supported my everyday expenses. From groceries to weekend plans, Serve Legal has often paid for my weekly shopping, allowing me to enjoy good, nutritious food without the financial stress. When it comes to socialising, I don’t have to worry about budgeting for a Friday night either! I have a few drinks stashed away!

One of the unique perks of the job is the ability to travel while working. I live in Scotland, and thanks to my free bus pass, I regularly travel to audits in cities like Edinburgh and Glasgow. The flexibility of this job means I can even take advantage of personal trips across the UK, easily fitting audits into my schedule by coordinating with local area managers.

At the end of this month, I’ll be heading to Belfast for a weekend trip, which I’ve managed to fully fund through my work with Serve Legal. By putting aside small amounts from each paycheck, I’ve been able to build a savings pot for such adventures – and of course, I’ll be completing a few audits while I’m there!

Beyond the financial benefits, my time at Serve Legal has significantly contributed to my personal and professional growth. I’ve developed strong communication and organisational skills, both of which have been instrumental in my academic life and will undoubtedly support my future career prospects.

I would highly recommend Serve Legal to any young person looking for flexible work that not only offers financial independence but also contributes to their personal development.
